Muscovy keepers share your pics!

We recently got these and were told they were muscovies but I'm thinking they are mules or hennies, any input would be great!
They look like Scovy! Such pretties, too!

We just butchered our first duck a few nights ago - one from a batched I had incubated and hatched and of course, named. It was hard to do!! We swore from now on we are not going to name any more of them unless they are named after something resembling food! I definitely understand the name "Food", haha
My first slaughtered pigs I raised in Ag class in High school were named "Porkchop" & "Loin" That was purely for paper work purposes otherwise I don't name the edible ones

We'll be going with names similar to that from now on, if any. Definitely learned our lesson.

So I just have some silly behavior questions.

Pearl, my white( ish) scovy has been a mean bird since we got her/him. Bites hard, bites the other ducks and omg if my dogs walk by the fence she/he jumps at them with feet out ready to do some serious harm. The fence prevents that thankfully. Anyway, why would this duck suddenly decide that it likes us? I swear to you we mentioned having to come to terms that Pearl may need to be our first duck dinner and the next day this duck acts like it wants to be our best friend. When I am interacting with my very tame ducks, Pearl now comes over to join in. She/he gets the same excited sounds, and body posture as my sweet Wobbles and will gentle nibble our hands too. She used to try to remove chunks of skin ever chance she/he got.

I'm not complaining that Pearl is suddenly mostly sweet. It is just so odd. And, she/he is still a jerk to one of the other ducks so still will need to be re-homed or eaten unless that changes AND she/he end up being a girl.

No not a color issue, I knew there were several different color patters but the size is what got me, they are about half the size of our pekins which are only a few months old. we were told they were laying but they were in a run with about 30 other ducks so I dunno how they knew these were. We have had them about a month now and still no eggs. Also they were actually diving down in the pond! It was pretty funny! I'm still new to learning about scovies but I've read a bunch here and there and it didn't seem like they fit the full blooded line so I was worried about the make being sterile?

oh yeah. mucovies can actually be any size, mine are actually smaller than average muscovies so yeah :)
Also sorry that I didn't add this, Hybrids are usually sterile and only the girl (hennies) can produce off spring and that's rare, they ones that can produce off spring can only have them with Muscovy males ( i think) and thus those off spring are fertile so even if they were in a way mixed they would still be fertile, it's just molt season so they aren't laying as much :)
