Yesterday i saw in the magazine that some idiot have dumped 3 ducklings and their mother in a lake. I were driving to the lake to look for them and take them home with me. But i didnt see them. Maybe someone alredy have taked care of them, i hope so.

wow, look at that facial flesh! i have one boy from my last hatch who has black not fully but more than i have ever seen and i have had a lot of boys here to compare lol

He´s gorgeous isn´t he, and I like the way he´s perched on the branch, probably more than our domestics do it. I must say that I do prefer the black faces.. some of my young drakes had a bit of black on, but I didn´t keep any of them.
I saw a wild muscovy (or could have been an escaped one!) fly over our place about a year ago....lovely to see.

MLyd, this is the spring, I can´t remember which thread it was that I mentioned her...maybe the goose one.

Now if i saw spring out running around i would give her a wild berth she is probably a sweet heart but sure would make someone think about coming into your yeard i bet.

That would be something! most of my juvi males do roost but before long the size makes that harder.. my girls are all full flight, so often we have a few flutters overhead they don't go far though, they love the kids old super tall playground, for instance.

Yep, people that know her don´t worry, they pat her head when she leaps up....but strangers keep well back.
