Sad day my chickens killed pepper our Muscovy we thought was a drake. Anyone know why they would do that. They pulled out his feathers and I think he bleed to death

I have no idea why they would do that other than perhaps becauae he was the only one of his kind? Our chickens are such a picky bunch. They ostresize anything different to them.

Me too! 18, 14 & 10 eggs respectively all due within a week of each other starting 10 days from now.
It is going to be crazy but I cannot wait!!

Anybody else have a crooked neck to share?
This is Quasi. I rarely have a deformed Muscovy hatch but when they do I've never had one live past 2-3 weeks. This one is coming up on 2 months now! I love him! He's quite the character

We have another member who lost some ducklings to their chickens. very sorry, seems once one starts attacking and they see blood then they will all join in how old are the ducklings? I'd never pen ducklings and adult chickens together, once the ducks are adults they can handle the chickens better.
