Just wanted to drop in, happy new year everyone!!

After worrying about my ducks laying over 20 eggs, taking out 10, conatantly bothering the eggs.....I'm so happy my ducks are finally sitting.

They made their nest so beautiful too! Covered up with leaves, feathers lined up everywhere, and the weather on Guam has just been perfect.

Here's my drake always by himself now

he's cute. Does he mind being by himself?

you're welcome. I have to admit that's funny. I guess his day isn't complete until he's bothered your cat.

Oh I never did update on Praline's situation. After a few days in the with the chicks and cemanis she was confident enough to go back out with Fudge in the main flock and they have blended in nicely. Everyone seems to tolerate each other and they no longer try to wander off when they are free ranged.

It may be a bad egg...I notice as the laying hen/duck realizes the egg isn't as warm as the rest, they boot it from the nest...Or could be something completely different... ;-)
