I'm in Vermont near Montpelier. My first six ducklings have hatched and sold and that duck is already laying again for a second sitting. My second duck is due to hatch any day now, she's sitting on 17 eggs.

I know how you feel. It took me awhile to find my Scovies. For awhile I didn't find any listed anywhere near me & didn't feel driving more than 1 or so hours one way was feasible. There is a Scovie out there for you, just be patient, keep looking & one will show up at the right time. If you haven't already you can check Craigslists around your area.​
