Muscovy Questions

The two to the left are chocolate and black (maybe pied). As for the totally black one, I'm not sure.
Where did you get ducklings?
I got them as hatching eggs from someone local. Someone told me that the all black one might be wild type chocolate, wild type black, and atipico black. Not sure what atipico is though…
 
When my Muscovy drake was just hatched and mama wanted him dead, I took him in and he became a house duckling. It was absolutely amazing the escape artist he was.
Shortly after I put them in the dog playpen they were already messing with one of the zippers! I was like “guys, really??” Haha!

Wild type are the ones with the spots on the back and the line on their face by their eye. The black one wouldnt be considered wild type. Maybe they meant they will be pure black when they get older? That is what muscovies look like in the wild. A neighbor of mine has some beautiful black muscovies. I haven't seen what the ducklings look like though.

Thanks for the link! That helps me better understand it a little better. Never heard the word atipico before so I was a little confused.
