When do they stop laying eggs?

It depends. What are you talking about?
If for the nest, most Scovies stop once the nest has 15-30 eggs.
If for the season, most stop once there is less than 11-13 hours of daylight, usually in mid fall.
All ducks stop laying when they molt, because they can't molt and lay.

I have 5 yr olds who lay as good as when they first started.
