I could not even eat a duck let alone the liver!!I remember the person I bought my Muscovies from when I lived in Toledo ohio, had mentioned duck liver. I don't think I'd enjoy eating duck liver.

I was surprised when I read that they use artificial insemination to get Mule Ducks because they don't cross usually. Mine had no problem at all crossing and its hard to believe that mine were just so special especially since my Male would cross breed and so would my female.I could not even eat a duck let alone the liver!!
How did you cook it? And what didn't taste like?Tasted fine to me, but that's not the 'delicacy' they're going after unfortunately.
Just pan fired, like any other liver, lol.How did you cook it? And what didn't taste like?
I'm not interested in foie gras after hearing about it. But normal duck liver I might try. I've never had any liver. Not sure if I'd like it.Just pan fired, like any other liver, lol.
With the Foie Gras, I don't know exactly how it's cooked but it's a pate, a spread. Too rich for me, too fatty.
If you've never had it, I suggest chopping it and mixing it with ground beef. Get yourself used to it slowly. At least with duck liver, it's smaller than if you went and bought beef liver!I'm not interested in foie gras after hearing about it. But normal duck liver I might try. I've never had any liver.
