I found a false morel yard the other day :/ That's about it. Heading into the woods for a quick stroll here in a bit. Wonder if we'll find anything?

No luck looking for morels but came across this nice cluster of Chicken of the woods by surprise.

Still no morels but collected a bunch more chicken There's still plenty of young growth on the trees where I got these. That should be ready in a few more days.

It is a mix of light rain and light snow here but no snow on the ground. I have an oyster mushroom that will be ready to harvest soon. There are also alcohol inky caps that are ready now and the guineas have been getting into them.

Anyone know what these are? They're very low to the ground, almost flat against it. I just happened to look down while out in the yard and saw them.
