Must find a LOVING home for 1 bantam cochin rooster-BAY AREA CA

You know if I was closer and we had the room I would take them in a heartbeat and I'd love them forever.

I really hope you find a way to make this work or at least a loving owner that will give them the best life possible. That little family is just amazing. And I'm sure they'd be overjoyed if they understood you just want to keep them together.

Take care and good luck!

Well, I have some good news. We went to the pound today and the officer only brought up Little Jerry. So we don't have to find a home for the girls. God, everytime I would start to think about which ones to give away, I would start crying. I knew that this ***** would call the cops eventually when I realized that Little Jerry was a boy. But I still couldn't stop myself from falling in love with him. He is the sweetest little thing ever. So, maybe now I can find a home more easily since it is just him.

I'm so glad you get to keep your hens but it still ticks me off you have to re-home your roo. Especially when you are containing him and he's not out crowing at 5:00 a.m.! Violent crime to deal with and we have to harrass people about a chicken!
I'd give him a home in a heartbeat if one of my "assorted red pullets" hadn't turned out to be a roo!
Good luck, I hope you find a good place for him. Although if it was me I think I'd hide him away for a while and see how things go!

Well when we asked the officer why we are being forced to get rid of him and no one is being forced to get rid of their weed wackers, she said it is because someone complained. So, we have decided to call the cops when those go off at 8 in the morning. I bet you though, the won't be forced to stop using them. At least this officer was understanding though, and she said she will give us a good amount of time to find him a good home. Ironically, she is currently building a chicken coop in her back yard

If you are willing to ship him, I'll pay the $45 shipping fee if someone else is willing to take him and give him a forever home.

We had to sell all our bantam cochins when my daughter was deployed so I can't take him.

If someone could get him to Sacramento area , I could get him to Reno for you... I sometimes get to the bay area but probably won't for at least a month or so...
