Out of curiosity, why would it have to be that one?View attachment 3860512
The one in the middle with the fancy face markings is the one I would have to give up if I keep 25
Honestly they are all special
It’s a long answer, but mostly because I have reasons to keep all the others and the reason to keep that one is the least important.Out of curiosity, why would it have to be that one?
They all are so beautiful, by the way! Too cute
Aww, sounds like you made great choices! Can’t wait to see what they look like as they grow! It’s a long answer, but mostly because I have reasons to keep all the others and the reason to keep that one is the least important.
Beauty I’m keeping because I think she/he is a lilac buff and I really like that color.
Lovely is a different color (lavender?) than I’ve had before and is super cute.
Eagle - my sister loves mallard markings so I let her pick one of the mallard types to keep and she chose Eagle.
Angel aka Cuddlebug- my sister fell in love with this one because it will fall asleep in her hands and loves to be cuddled. So of course I have to keep it.
My favorite duckling doesn’t have an official name yet, but obviously I’m keeping my favorite. Looks like my beloved Ruu who died, and acts like her too.
The duckling with the fancy face markings, is currently called. “Crown” or “Fancy”. The main reason I kept (yes I did decide to keep it!) is the cute face markings
No, after hearing from some of you and thinking about it awhile I decided 25 will do fine in his/her new home. I told the new owner to let me know if she has any problems, but she’s very experienced duckling raiser so I think it will be ok. Then she asked me to let her know when I had more ducklings availableDid you keep the lil 25?
Lovely! I’m so jealous that you can handle your little ones. I guess that’s the benefit of hatching from an incubator, no Mama duck to threaten (and follow through with) violence if one simply thinks of having a quick duckling cuddle…
