My 4.5 week old cuckoo maran is a cockerel? Right?

These are the best pics I could get of my other Cuckoo Maran chick. She is the same age but developing much differently. Doesn’t have much comb at all and the coloring on her wings is different.

I‘m a newbie myself. This is my third time raising chicks and there is so much to learn!

If it is a cockerel, what kinds of experiences have people had with Cuckoo Marans roosters?

We have had to get rid of every rooster we have had. They have either been to aggressive with us or really mean to the hens.

It breaks my heart to maybe have to get rid of another chicken!
 
I haven't had any experience with cuckoo marans roosters (or any roosters) so I'm afraid I won't be much help to you! Most of what I've read is that if you keep them well socialized to you, they're pretty trainable with food.
