I decided to start this early this year to keep track of stuff I do with the birds and maybe provide some fun for anyone following!

I am going to 2 4H Shows this year, county fair and state Fair.
County is the last week in June and State is near the last weekend.

I am not sure what I am taking yet[IMG] mostly cochins amd possibly a market trio of Naked Necks.

I am getting 3 new cochins tomorrow and 43 chicks on Saturday. 20 of the chicks are sexed female Naked Necks, 20 sexed female Leghorn, 2 sexed female Golden Polish, and one free chick.

All of my cochins are show quality and the chicks are from a hatchery.

From when I got the chicks to today I have only lost 3![IMG]

Today I handled the Cochins all of them did good except the black frizzle pullet who is being a sassy chicken and will not stand still or stop flapping her wings[IMG]

I can not wait to take my 3 new cochins plus one of my older ones to shows!!
I love her frizzling though so I can not stay mad at her to long.

I finally got categorizing figured out for the cochins today, now to get it posted on here with each bird

Woohoo! Entered all of the cochins in a online poultry show, and Gary got BV!! The 2 blacks were also judged but didn't amount to much as they weren't conditioned as well after being shipped and they are younger then the rest. Still waiting for the blue females to get judged and to see how far Gary goes

Gary didn't move up any which is fine with me since there were a lot of good birds!
