My babies put themselves to bed!!

I know, I know....old news, but for me, not so much!

I was doing my dishes and looked out and saw an empty pen...wondered, "Did they?" And they did!!! So amazing to me. I wish I had looked up and saw them marching in. I put hay along the side of the ramp they keep falling off of when I herd them in, so I didn't get to test it out....really packed it in so they would have some cushion if they fell off.

I am just so excited and so impressed with the little buggers!!!!

We have a few Austrailian Spotted ducks that are new to us, they have been locked in for about a month to get use to the accomodations.

Today, I was out watering and feeding, and they all lined up and headed in without coaxing. So cool.

I was proud when my new scovy girls put themselves to bed after one night of being herded into the house. I totally get it!

Wonderful! I am sure they will get over their terrified stage soon now. They found home! I'm so happy for you. I remember when my chickens first started doing that instead of the family & I having to run all over the yard (they are just so much less cooperative about herding than ducks!)
