Good for you! If everyone who seen something like that and reported it we'd all have much healthier birds! Hope they can also do something to him as well, people should be ashamed of themselces keeping any animal in such conditions! Let alone trying to run a buisness and selling animals like that, so sad! That is so sad. So sorry for your loss and thank you for sharing. I went to a "farm" today trying to get some female quail and it was so gross. All quail, chickens, ducks and whatever else they had there were living in rusted nasty cages in the dirt. He tried to sell me birds that were obviously sick and had bad Bumblefoot and missing toes. I was so sad for them and was wondering who to call. Now I know so thank you.
First of all..I was not aware of any sickness. I would NEVER knowingly sell a sick bird! I have been in business for almost 10 years and have a HUGE following. You have totally exaggerated the barn conditions, but it is a very old barn and not very pretty. I am glad you notified the State Vet or I would not have known that my birds were infected with Micro Plasma..often there are no symptoms. They found no visibly sick birds when they came to test them.@spydertoys Thanks alot for doing this to me, my farm and those babies... Shame on you!!!
