Actually, I have just reread your initial post and realise that it was 24 hrs since you found him and no change or progress. That is not good at all! I'm also not terribly sure why you wrapped his wing around him, was it just hanging loose? Can you describe where he was and what he looked like or take a photo of where he was, so it adds some context. Could a predator have got to him at that location.... stoats and weasels can get through very small holes and often drink their blood....are their any puncture marks?
Bruising colouration can take a day or two to come through so I would not necessarily expect to see bruising that early.
I think he may be on his way out if he is not showing any signs of improvement after a day. He needs water at least to survive, but if he is not fully conscious, he could choke if you try to syringe it into him and clearly dipping his beak will not achieve much. Tubing water into his crop might help but the trauma of it might just kill him with him being so obviously sick. It might just be kinder to let him pass. He looks reasonably peaceful.
