Hi I'm deb and I have chickens.

I've done many posts on my different chickens and their personalities.

The o.g. girls as my husband calls them are Lucky Clucky an old english game hen and Henny Penny a welsomer.

the party girls are my mille fluer d'uccles Confetti and Fiesta who joined the flock in early feb along with their bff's the big ladies Queen Latifah a black autralorpe and Wynona the silver laced Wyandotte. Peeper McNugget a leghorn joined the coop in late feb after she got done being brooded/ whelped/ growing up some.

I was getting ZERO eggs. then I got one pink egg a couple days after the party girls moved in. a very small one. then NO MORE EGGS. the day daylight savings time kicked in, the party girls and Henny Penny became pretty reliable with the pattern being 1,1,2,3 0 1 4 as to eggs per day. then Lucky Clucky joined in - hers are white and a tiny bit longer. the other are all pink. so now I had 4 little girls laying and the big ladies were total freeloaders. I had taken them not caring what age they were so I figured maybe they were in retirement. well I started giving them sweet kale salad in the mornings and then last week I got one big brown egg. I had seen Wynona nesting so I figure it was hers. It was a tiny bit misshapen but not too bad. This weekend when I was gone my husband did chicken duty - and I must admit he did pretty good except forgetting to put down new bedding and feeding them scratch only - and we got 7 eggs, 3 of which were big girl eggs so the other chicken Queen Latifah decided to lay too! Anyway my girls are happy and learning chicken tricks and getting treats :) They love getting their corncob pinatas!

And Peeper McNugget is 17 weeks so should start laying soon!

Wow, what great pictures!! You did them? They're really colorful, realistic and enjoyable. They'd look great framed and on the wall! :thumbsup
