My brown orp chicks, 2wks pics

Just thought I'd share these pix of my buff orp/sumatra chicks. Their feathers are looking like wild turkeys. There's also a blue sumatra chick in there and a strange australorp/sumatra with a crooked toe. And then my one ameracauna who I call forty since she's my 40th pet and she cost me $40. (dz eggs from ebay..she's it).

I was confused by the "brown orp" part of your title, then I see you have a cross. They're a beautiful rich shade of brown!

They have brown legs as well. I did'nt expect anything so pretty and so different from the parents. Do you think they'll remain brown or change to buff orp or sumatra colors?

I had a mascovy duck years ago and it looked nothing like that. and it was mean. Please tell me that is a peaceful people loving breed...I want one
