My Button Quail Are Picking On Each Other, What's The Best Approach?

You have a lot of space. I've found very useful a "second floor". Your coop is high. You can add something like a table shape with a ramp and a small box with dirt on it. This way you will add 2 hiding places, up and ander the floor. It's good exercise and boredom buster. I provided one to an old couple I have and she escapes there when he becames aggressive. I also hung vegetables and throw a few seeds in the sand box to keep them busy.Make sure your ramp has something they can grab to, because they are not much of a climbers. I keep repeating that about the 2 floor, I know, but it really helped me in many situations.
I know it's looks like they have a lot of things but now they never quarrel. ( The ramp needs changing often. It gets popped)View attachment 2454112View attachment 2454114 and I use this mesh to avoid waisting. Once on the floor they won't eat it. View attachment 2454112
Ooh great idea! I think I'll try to do something like that. Thanks!

There is always the chance your couples don't like each other.
I gave to that hen a new male but she still prefers that grumpy old one, even though he sends her upstairs after a few hours. Sometimes when she can't see him he calls and he answers and they chat for a while in low voice. It's amazing 😍

Yeah, I have considered switching them up, but I'm not sure if I should or who will get along with who.
Aww that's so sweet. I love hearing mine crow, they won't do it when I'm in their house, just if I'm standing outside I'll hear them start.
