My chicken has runny poo, tail down, weak, please help.

If that is soft and not hard like a shell, it could be part of the egg membrane.

Whatever you decide to do, at least get a few droppers full of water into her vent. Maybe that will help her pass all that stuff on her own.

we got some water in her vent. we will try to get shell out tomorrow. how much water should i give her? as much as i can? is there any limit? i think i gave her about 10 Ml today

Good job you two

. You've done everything you can for her tonight, I think. Put some Pedialyte in the cage with her. Maybe she'll drink on her own. Now I think she needs some rest and I'm sure you do too. Hoping tomorrow morning brings improvement and a happy ending for you and your hen.

i gave her the ped., and put her in an animal carrier in a dark room for the night. we will give her some water in the morning, and in the afternoon we will try to get the shell out. should i give her more of the tylan in the morning or wait until tomorrow afternoon? thanks for your help!

If she hasn't expelled that overnight, give her another 1/2 hours soak in warm water before trying to extract any shells. It will help those muscles to relax. I'd give her another dose of antibiotics in the morning, afternoon, and evening. I sounds like you gave that to her orally, so I'm assuming that you have the water soluble Tylosin that is supposed to be given by mouth. Right?

Get a well deserved rest. I'm

for you.

it didnt say that, it said injectable, but "areosmith_99" said
You can give it to her down her throat or by injection. I usually try down the throat first if possible but if not, l try and inject the tylan under her skin

so i gave her a little bit, less than 1/4 cc with the ped. is this going to hurt her? i hope i didnt do something wrong
