My chicken is growing another toe?

Well, at least thats what it looks like. My barred rock has had a lump growing on each toe for the past year or so, and it has progressively gotten bigger. It is covered in scales like the rest of the foot and is hard so i know its not filled with puss or anything like a wort. On the underside of both feet where the lump is, there is a clump of hardened dirt. I tried taking it off but It almost seems like it is attached. Like I said, this has been going on for a really long time and its is not bothering her, but still, anyone have any ideas as to what this is.

You need to soak her feet and scrub the dirt off. The dirt stuck to her toes can irritate the skin and maybe let staph in and start bumble foot.

I looked up bumblefoot and it could be that, although its not so severe on the underside. I will try and get the dirt out.
