Some chickens will gladly eat it out of your hand. If not, just pry open her beak and pop it onto her tongue. Some chickens are as adept as cats and dogs at firing the pill back out. Be ready. Place it farther back on the tongue the second try.

Or you can crush it and mix it into a dab of peanut butter or yogurt.
