My Chicken Suddenly Smell DISGUSTING

Should I treat them if I don't know they have something?

You obviously think something is wrong by the smell. Without a lab one can only treat based upon symptoms of diseases common to chickens. Did you check their vents? What is their environment like (size of coop, size of range space, type of litter, wild birds getting in their feed)? What does their diet consist of? Have you ever used a Coccidiosis preventative such as Corid or medicated feed?

At 9 months of age, the birds are still developing their immune systems, so recognizing symptoms of disease which can compromise the immune system is important. So long as you do not see nasal discharge, ocular discharge, swelling around eyes, respiratory distress, you may examine some common bacterial diseases which can be a problem: http://www.thepoultrysite.com/publications/6/Diseases_Of_Poultry
