Yes, it is from pecking treats trough the fence.

What kind of fence? Pics?

Can one of you tell me how to treat it?

Sorry, I do not.
Have seen some beaks grow back, unless it is broken up beyond the growth area.

Yes. Well, almost. It was almost completely healed but then I saw something weird on her beak. It was almost dark, so I could not see were well...so the next day, I looked at it. I thought she was in pain. So I posted about it. It looks very bad to me.

Can one of you tell me how to treat it?

Well, there you go...you found the cause, soooo no more feeding through the fence

As for treatment, if she were mine --- you say she's eating/drinking on her own, the top layer is peeled, so I would leave it alone, let it fall of on it's own.

She's doing good. The dimensions are 1/2", you were right!

Lol, not really. I do live in FL, off of a preservation that is pretty much a cypress marsh. It sure feels like a swamp at times though. My location started as a joke a few years back on a different forum.
