My chickens will be on the news tonight and I will too!
There has been a lot of flooding here in Oregon and a lot of animals have been displaced by the flooding. I have decided to open up my home as a place for a few of these animals to go and I am hoping to get others to open up their homes as well. I have also created the Facebook Group, The Soggy Animals of Coos County to help spread the word and get things organized better.
I sent out a press release about this and the local news came and interviewed me to help spread the word around better.
I am offering to take in chickens, sheep, goats, and baby animals like calves, lambs, etc.
Here's a link to the Group, http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Soggy-Animals-of-Coos-County/258999660839999?v=wall.
