This latest hatch has to be the quietest set of peeps I've ever had. 3 silkies, 4 frizzles, 2 BLR, and one EE, and they hardly make any noise at all. I was commenting on this to my husband, who tells me "Don't worry. That will change soon enough." A girl can get lucky, can't she??

Yes, they are very snug and happy. Their cuteness factor is off the scale right now. Hopefully, they'll be joined by 6 more Silkies and 3 more frizzles Wednesday.

I can understand my husband's attitude. We've had some crazy loud peeps in the past, especially when I would turn off their light for the evening. They would chirp so loud settling down for the night, he'd have to turn up the TV kind of high just to hear it. Just milling around in their brooder tubs, they'd be noisily talking to each other, with one or two doing that "I'm lost" peep for no particular reason. This batch seems really relaxed and friendly. I guess that may have something to do with their activity level.
