Here is the coop built

Then found a spot in the backyard for the run

Finally added grass to make it pretty

Then last night around the run i installed a misting system. I think my birds have a better home than me...

Is that sod that you bought? Be careful using sod, it's often treated with fertilizer and pesticides that can be harmful to chickens.

2x Sod is nice but not sure how long before the chickens disappear it. Great set up, yes chickens do tend to get spoiled

The only way to keep grass in the run is with a grass box. As you can see in the photo not a speck of grass remains in the chicken yard. When I put them in the yard the grass was 18" tall in some places.
