DOOOOO keep the Chinese motif going, it's near inspired.
You could spread it all through your garden, with some bamboo plantings, a little fish pond and a matching arbor.

I just posted pics of my hutch roof. (bantam trio movable hutch) You could build trusses -they are a 45 degree cut (to make the point) and then rest on the top of the box. You build 3 or four, connect them to your coop and throw metal on top. Good Luck, -e
