My coop is too friggen blue!

...you should paint racing stripes and corvette flags on it. That will make it go faster.

Its not the color, it is the sheen. Flat would have worked a little better. As far as doing something about it; dark gray flat or satin for trim and door. Dont use any more of that blue for accessories. Try things like old flower pots painted the dark gray or a subdued yellow and put them right up next to the building. Someone suggested painting on fake shutters...this would be a good idea in a subdued yellow. So trim in gray and work with gray and yellow accessories. You will be surprised how it breaks it up (impo) Ive owned a painting company a very long time

PS. And corner trim boards painted the gray color also.....simple and cheap 1x4 will be fine. Maybe a trellis leaned up against it, even if you have to weave fake vines thru it. LOL
