My coturnix quail are laying green and purple eggs!!!

All of the sudden my coturnix quail are laying very bright eggs. Purple and green. What's the deal with this???

I had a green egg the other day as well.....not sure why. I occasionally will have all white egg....someone forgets to put the spots on befre they lay.

Not sure why they change but I have had ones like that too. Once I got one as dark as a marans egg.
