That reminds me of something..
When I was a flight attendant.. and we were always stocking the beverage carts with the sodas... often we would have several cans that had burst and emptied of contents... along with a mess to clean...
This one time, I picked up a can of Ginger ale and it was as light as a feather! So I thought.. oh gee, it burst... but I couldn't see the hole in it anywhere. I put it to the side.. and later I went back and examined it, and I still couldn't find a hole and the tab was intact. I brought it home with me and put it in a bowl of water (I was really curious) and it floated! No bubbles.. nothing.
So they perfectly sealed a can of nothing
Maybe thats what happened to the Old spice... the old spice ran out and the machine kept sealing?
I often find people have used stuff in stores... thats why I always weigh things like air freshener
I'd probably drive even you batty... because I take forever in a store over every little item.. and I drag all the air freshener cans out of the back to compare to the others... then after I find an assortment of the heaviest, I examine them for the can with the least imperfections..... and really... you wouldn't have wanted to be my mother the day we were in Target trying to pick out a single plastic rubbermaid tub.... from all the same tubs.... and then when I realized we could exchange the lids, and I had to examine alll the lids. Really the hardest part is when they allll have imperfections and you have to pick which imperfection would be the least annoying...
But I get it home and never look hard enough to notice the imperfections again.... hehehe.
