hahahahahahaha lmao to funny. My dogs know that they had better get their butts outside. Although I too wake up to those land mines and let me tell you they know that I am quite ticked off at them the rest of the day.

* If it's been lightning and thundering at all in the 3 hours before her walk, mine has to be dragged outside and will pee in the grass right outside the front and want to turn around and go right back inside. Worse chicken than the chicken!

We have three dachshunds who have killed opossums in the yard in horrific battles, but if it is raining even a sprinkle, they won't put a toe outside. One of them I don't blame so much as he was a Katrina foundling who was rescued after two months in the streets. The others are just spoiled prima donas!

We have one of those 'wont get her feet wet-scared of the windblowing & every other noise-won't go outside in a rain or when theres noise' dogs and just for her, and when were away long hours too, we keep a puppy pad next to the front door.

Works great. Now the only messes we ever clean up are cat puke and the occassional over-excited tinkle from another pooch.
