Guinea fowl and opossums are good on the ticks. Opossums, from what I've heard, can eat up to 2,000 ticks in one night! Unfortunately, I can't have Guineas were I live. And I don't like Opossums. I found one with my bantams one time, and that was that for the little guy. (Plus I had thought it was a rat. It was dark out, and I didn't know what an opossum was, so that's probably why.) Guineas are noisy, but I don't mind. (I love the sound of roosters crowing and everything, so if the bird makes sounds, I love it. Sorry if I'm weird that way.
