My duck/chicken life

They grow so fast! Have you tried letting them swim yet? If you do, make sure they are 100% dry before putting them back in three brooder. Otherwise they could get cold and die. They also need to be supervised while swimming. They are so cute! I wish I had recorded it when I let my ducklings go swimming!
I read about those facts already. They did have water play time outside in the video above. But it wasnt deep.

Ok, so since we have more then enough eggs, we decided to let our two broody hens try and hatch their own eggs, one has eggs from both yesterday and today (around 10, and not sure if shes completely broody yet), the other has around 5 or so, both easter egger and black austrolorp eggs. The father is our only rolster, an easter egger named big red. This is day one. Will get pics of roosty hens as soon as I can bilut wont won't bothe eggs.

So far broody hens are concistantly sitting on their eggs. Just before "lock down" and hatching, I will move them to the ground.

This is the ducklings second time outside and they love it!!! They also love all the fresh bugs and green stuff.

Ducklings also happen to love my shoe :p

As well as mud over cleaner water
