Aint that the truth. Serious question, does anybody here know anyone that can give me a list ofof thee best natural antibiotics for ducklings???

The words Natural and Antibiotic in the same sentence are problematic at best. @casportpony is the smartest person on byc that I know when it comes to Antibiotics, etc. Maybe she can offer some thoughts.

Me to. Last time we had a clicking duckling, had to put it down. Though this one seems to be from a different cause.

Mom went to tractor suppl to get duckling's medicated food and booster liquid, she got it, but also came home with five supposedly bantam chicks that weren't thriving in the store. They were the last chicks there and were very weak when they got here. Though they mostly seemed to havebe perked up after we gave thwm some booster and warmed them up. We think one is a silkie, theres one unknown black one, and three that look like tiny ee chicks.

And thethey duckling wasn't so pleased because their incessant chirping kept waking quackers from her nap.

Casportpony is also the "poop inspector general." I wouldn't want that job, but someone has to do it. Kathy really knows her poop. All kidding aside she is one very smart lady.

The duckling's poop is normal. A exact miniature ofthe our adult ducks poops that I can say for sure, since I do keep mental track of their health like that some. Their poop ccan tell a. Lot about their health after all.
