My duck/chicken life

I have duck eggs in the bator... No idea what to expect. My girl hasn't laid in over a year and then suddenly started again and laid like 10. Her and the boys are seniors now, so we'll see what comes of it.

Good for you... I have Barred Holland, Duck and Turkey eggs in now. I have several orders for the Hollands, but want to hold back a good size batch for me. Ducks and turkeys are a hale marry pass. We'll see what happens. On the turkey front, I have a black tom, and for the girls, 3 RP, 1BR and 1 Nari. Should make for some colorful polts if successful.

Would'nt know that never bred turkeys myself. It's strange, all the eggs in the new bator have saddled air sacs. Some more pronounced then others.

Thanks. Two of our ducks have injured feet. They got infection and aren't sure ifyou they'll get better with just antibiotics and epso. Salt

Yep. And no matter where theyou other chicks are, peepers is alwqys sure to make sure she's within sight of cotton ball.
