My duck eggs hatching early!?!? Did I do something wrong?

I just played a video of ducklings chirping on my phone and held it to the top of the bator (I have 2 more pips and I heard it helps encourage them out of the shell). He opened his eyes!!!!! He joined in cheeping too!!!! He hasn't opened his eyes before!!!!!
I swore I wasn't going to fall in love, just in case the worst happens, but my heart just melted!

LOL, Yes Chirping sounds from other gets them going, it's almost like "COMPETITION ON!!!"., When you can get some helping hands try to get another pic of inside, I just don't think he's got yolk, LOL grrr I'm being so stubborn aren't I?

But don't take him out for at LEAST two hours. so if you helpers come in an hour, don't move him, let him be...

I had to ask, LOL, I've seen differently before.. It's like Really?? He's WHAT???? Bator???? and you have him WHERE?? LOL

It's 3.08am here! My teenage son will be up between 7 and 7.30am, so the timing should work out just right to take him out for a picture. You will be asleep by then probably!

I feel like I should be giving him something to drink? Or should I leave it until tomorrow?

no if he drinks he could aspirate. He's got all his nutrients right there in that yolk sac, we just need to get it in him. LOL

I thought so... He waddles a little funny. He's been drinking, I'm not sure if he has eaten... I have him in his own very small box in the brooder but he wants out! It's also hard to feed and water him in his close quarters he keeps spilling it. He is so much tinier than the rest
