My duck has prolapsed his penis!!

Just phoned the vet about my little Bubbly bubs! He has had another inch removed and all went very well. Nothing is showing so "fingers crossed". He has to stay in one more night as they have had to order the implant for chemical castration. I think I might have a problem getting him back!! they have all fallen in love with him. Let you know next chapter x

Hi everyone. Managed to recover from the problems with Bubble and guess what? I went to give my rabbit some greens and he didn't respond as normal. I took him indoors and he seemed to be "wobbly". I took him to the vet and she said he had E Cuniculi. A parasite which inhabits the brain (among other organs). It caused major nerve problems which meant his head tilted to one side (as he thought he was falling over), his legs couldn't support him properly and he had "fits" when he thought he was falling. Horrible to watch. I treated him for a few days but each day he got worse. I spent hours each day sitting with him, making him feel safe. Then on Friday I took him back to the vet and made the decision to have him put to sleep. Broke my heart but I know it was the right decision. I fear the vet is going to start charging me rent, I'm there so often. I wonder who's next!!! Hope everyone is OK x
