My duckling is throwing up. At first, I thought it was because of the way I held her because she threw up while I was carrying her but then she threw up again when she was just sitting down and doing nothing in particular. She was shaking her head pretty violently as well and now I' worried she's seriously ill. What could have caused this? And what can I do about it? Also, should I separate her from her sister in case she has a contagious illness?

Edit: I've been checking up on her and thinking about her behaviour throughout the day and I'm slightly less worried. Other than throwing up, she's been pretty much normal. She's been preening as much as usual and that's a sign of comfort in birds, right? Also, her appetite doesn't seem to have changed. My brother says she didn't eat the chick feed he offered her but when I gave her some peas and sweetcorn, it got devoured as usual. I am still worried though so all of the questions above still apply.

If your feeding peas and sweet corn they need grit all the time just have your mom put it into a separate bowl and they will eat it as needed. They can get crop issues if they can't grind up their food properly grit is very important. Don't add it too their feed just put a small bowl of it where you feed them and let them use it as they need it. Hope she is okay this morning.
