But where were the chunks missing from? Are you sure nothing could slip underneath or through the wire such as a weasel?Yes my run is covered from all sides including the top area. My mom said that she has chunks missing from her and that they were large. It couldn't have been another animal since nothing can get inside the enclosure

That's what I was thinking too but there isn't any way for another animal to enter.Once one is injured then there is always the possibility the ducks will begin to nibble
