My duck killed my other duck

No I have it fenced top to bottom for this exact reason since I want nothing to harm them

Yes my run is covered from all sides including the top area. My mom said that she has chunks missing from her and that they were large. It couldn't have been another animal since nothing can get inside the enclosure

But where were the chunks missing from? Are you sure nothing could slip underneath or through the wire such as a weasel?

That's what I was thinking too but there isn't any way for another animal to enter.

We don't have weasels where I live or any raccoons
