No. They dont have any birds (and not planning on getting any), but they (typically) didnt know ducks can do the same things as chickens (like lay eggs....

They (it was actually a family we know) do 4h, but not poultry keeping. The one does beekeeping, and one does art, and all that...

Oh okay. I suppose beekeeping could be fun! A lot of the other 4H activities don't really interest me though.

I really don't get the whole 4H thing... Art and beekeeping sound like fun hobbies!
