My husband called me into the kitchen and he said "I think there is something wrong with that chicken," I looked and my 4.5 week old EE girl is standing still with her mouth open and just didn't look right.
I went outside and picked her up. There was one of my hairs sticking out of her mouth. My hair is long, so she had picked a strand up to eat and it was too long to swallow.
I got DH outside and asked him to pull on the hair. He pulled and it was coming out, then what must have been contents of the crop came out with it.
I'm wondering would that have hurt her or not. She really looked uncomfortable. I hope she will be okay now.
