my eggs are 25 days old today and started chirping. please help, this is my first time incubating

It has to have done to be able to chirp. I know it is frightening, but you can do it. Make sure you put a towel underneath in case you drop the egg. I bet you will be shaking.

I will be shaking like a leaf. i'm so worried. it's amazing how attatched you can get to an egg! haha. i'm going to give a go now. god I hope it survives.

I have just candeld it (I put the mattress up against the window and made a tent with the duvet) and I could see something that could of been a beak and it was moving forwards and backwards but I couldn't hear it pecking the shell. would you still assist or give it a bit more time? sorry I am such a worrier

I'm in the same shell as you here I don't know whether I'm seine things when candling :( did the float test 2 moved but I'm scared they are stuck as its day 22 as they have saddle shaped air cells which I think means they can get stuck :(

mine has a funny shaped air cell but I didn't know if that's because it's got part of the chick in it like its bum or something. I have no idea as I have only ever had hens hatch my eggs for me and ive never candled them or anything like that.

It has to have gone through the internal membrane or else it couldn`t chirp.

I know I would help. Of course it is up to you.
