I'm a newbie and hadn't heard of angelwing, either. In your pix it looks like the flight feathers are growing out wrong. It that what it is? Or is there a deformity in the wing bones?

It's an actual twist in the wing. It's ugly but as far as I know it's not genetic. It never occurs in wild ducks or geese, only in domestic, and it's from eating too much high-protein high-grain food. Ducks and geese are grass/green-eaters (and ducks will also eat fish and snails and so on), so when you feed them dry grains there are consequences.

Like she said above.
I only ahve the two muscovys like that. I had them since they were babys about 8 years ago. I didnt know much about raiseing back then so they might have been on Chick Starter.

I have seen it in wild Canada geese before, but only two or three. I remember one real well, both her wings had it. I volunteered at a wildlife rehab center. We called her 'Angel' (yes I know it is very original)
