Yep, I aint never heard of Mille Fluer D'Uccles (probly butchered the spellin) before this post I dont think. There nice lookin birds for sure!
You were close!
Mille Fleur d'Uccle (milly floo-er dew-CLAY is how to pronounce it).
The d'Uccles are a true Belgian Bantam, and the Mille Fleur is their coloring... meaning "thousand flowers"... because of the white spangles on the tips of their feathers.

Christina nailed the genders weeks ago!
I kept hoping she was wrong on a couple of them, because we all want more hens, but I'm so happy with the crew I have. They're due to start laying sometime in January, I believe.
Sorry to take so long getting back, been busy w/the chicks and sick with the flu/cold crud... here's my "pet parrot" that has the sweetest voice and personality that I was thinking was a girl but now??? I'll try to get a new pic tonight as this one is from this summer/fall...
Here's updates on the silkies: (They're still in w/the EE chicks & one of Blue (Andalusian) first offspring)
All four are doing great Next time I'll just try for a foursome group shot!
