My extended "family" *picture heavy*

Thanks Miss P!

I think all of them are going to be stunners.

Can't wait for them to start laying!

I'm going to try to get some better photos of them - get them walking around - and get some updates on the Ameraucana chicks. They're 6 weeks old now, almost fully feathered, and absolutely gorgeous! They all started out as such light chicks, and now have beautiful coloring...Maybe tomorrow I'll see if I can get some shots.

Hi Cheryl!

thank you for the pictures! How old is your "parrot"? That might help me determine what it is...

I do believe you have a pullet there, Miss Cheryl!

This is "Chip" at just under 2 months, and it's pretty obvious by then.

They start getting the longer green tail feathers, and the comb/wattle starts to get larger.
That's a girl.

As sweet as it is, I'm awful happy! I'll have to post pics of my youngest two then, for sexing. I believe one is a young roo but the other ? Got to go pic up DD for her pink hair appointment now.

This weekend I'll ask you if we can tell on the four silkies but it may be too soon to tell?

My silkies from Charlie (Crackers) are 19 weeks old now, and I can finally tell for sure which are male and female. I knew Bart was a roo because he started crowing at 11 weeks. The other roo's comb is starting to widen and flatten out now, so I'm 100% sure I have 2 boys and 2 girls. Look for a wider obvious comb on the males. Females' tend to be hidden, and smaller.

Have fun with your DD!

Pidge, one of my favorites...

One group of them, with my Light Brahma...

This one reminds me of the ornamental multi-colored corncobs
