Hi everyone, well I finally got a fertile egg, after trying for awhile, and the next day (monday), my blue silkie, Pong, went broody. Tuesday she was sitting on 3 eggs, and my white silkie laid her egg in the corner, so I put it under Pong. Today, when I went to let them out, there was an egg between the door and Pongs floor nest. I checked, and Pong was sitting on 3. She had pushed the 4 th one out. Why would she do that? Bad egg? No room? Thanks for input!! :thumbsup

It was probably pushed out inadvertently. Make sure that she has enough nesting material to construct a good nest.
I didnt know if she could tell if the egg was fertile or not. She has plenty of bedding. I have 4 nest boxes, and they have never been used. I had to put up poo boards cause they would build nests right under perch. I make sure to put extra bedding on the floor for them.
