My first experiance with giving a chicken a bath (pic heavy)!!!

That is fricking funny! Some of my hens have dirty butts and I keep wanting to give them a bath. Maybe they will love it!

I gave my silkie a bath. She verbally protested for about one minute, then turned to marshmellow.She rolled over one her side as well and I had to hold her up from going under. She loved it. She was white and fluffy and smelled like Dawn and after she was dried(put her in a small dog carrier and put a 100w light on it)she was perky and ready to go.Chickens rock!

I gave 3 of mine baths today ( dirty butts) they love it . especially the drying !

That is really cute.

I gave the 4 chickens that I was entering in the fair bathes. Except for Rusty they all loved it. I had to hold up their heads. They were SO relaxed!!!

But Rusty was struggling and I had to give him a shower instead of a bath because he kept pooping in the tub. Oh and he hated the blow dryer. I thought for sure he was going to break his wings. The way he was struggling.
