I set three eggs yesterday afternoon in my JN12 incubator. If I get another egg today then I might put that in, because they will still be due to hatch within 24 hours of each other. The incubator seems pretty good, it was set on 38 degrees celsius, but I changed it to 37.5. Was I supposed to do that? The auto-turner works well, but I still turn them sometimes, because the eggs dont turn a full 360 in the auto-turner. The humidity is a bit confusing, the instructions just say to put 100ml in when it looks empty, so whatever...
I hope they hatch!

No more eggs today, so just three in the incubator. I candled them, only so I could tell in a few days if there was any development. I used my fish-tank thermometer to test the temperature right where the eggs are, and it was pretty low, about 35-36 degrees. I increased the temp back up to 38 and I'll see what happens. It was low for about six hours, so I hope they're alright... But a lower temp is beter than a high one, so I'll keep my fingers crossed!
Also, the aggs have lost some weight, egg one stayed the same, egg two went from 55g to 53g, and egg three went from 58g to 56g. Should I add more water, or is this normal?

I got another egg today so I thought 'why not?' so now there are four. While I was putting the new one in, I candled them all for the sake of it. The original eggs, on day two, are a lot darker then the new, freshly laid one. I have the temperature all figured out now, with two thermometers in the incubator. Right under the eggs it is 37.5 degrees celsius, and the humidity, I wouldn't have a clue. I followed the instructions, but I'm hoping to buy a hygrometer soon. Also, I won't be home for two nights starting tonight, so I really hope they'll be ok!
