They are indeed fall chickens. LOL

All of the male chicks hatch looking just like Red did but feather in buff. So, I am really anticipating what line breeding will produce in the next generation.

At least you won't have forever to wait. That's one nice thing is they mature in a realitively short amount of time to work on the next generation. --My cattle drive me nuts with trying for the blues!

Wow MP, I completely missed this thread till right now. Big Red is awesome! His offspring are looking mighty fine as well. Good luck with this project. Hmmm, how cool will that be,
getting your name and reds recognized as a new color. Woohoo!!
